Through this grant, students will have the opportunity to interact with robots and the programming languages they use.
Currently, Dabbs has a few robots that can only impact a small group of students. With the funds from this grant we could expand our robotics Genius hour program and give more students the opportunity to interact with robots and participate in coding activities.
Studies have shown, while using robots, students learn the fundamentals of problem solving. Students will take complex problems and break them down into their more manageable parts. This is a vital skill our students will need to be prepared for their future.
