Case study-based learning helps students comprehend concepts, retain content longer, and achieve critical thinking and real-world problem solving skills. The Kidnapped inquiry activity presents students with a case (problem) that needs a resolution.
By participating in this laboratory activity, Pre-AP Biology students at the North Campus will have an opportunity to refine their inquiry process skills such as developing hypotheses, collecting data, creating graphs and tables, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions.
Learning through case studies increases the student's enjoyment of the topics and hence their desire to learn.
